  • Perform joint use field audits & document issues

  • Map attachment locations by type or condition

  • Interface with GIS, work management & financials

Joint Use Attachment Invoicing

Whether you are primarily a pole owner or attacher, Varasset provides the invoicing features you need.  Pole owners can generate invoices in multiple formats.  Attachers can easily receive and import invoice data from owners, updating their own records and inexpensively populating missing data such as latitude/longitude.

Resolve Conflicting Ownership Data

Attachers sometimes find that they are being billed multiple times for an attachment on a single pole because several utilities claim ownership.  Varasset helps you identify and resolve ownership issues.

Resolve Conflicting Attachment Data

Attachers sometimes fail to properly permit before attaching, resulting in a "bootleg" attachment.  Alternately, an attachment may have been removed (or never attached), but the pole owner continues to bill due to outdated records.  Varasset helps you identify and resolve these issues.

Track Violations

The pole owner's inspectors use Varasset Mobile to document joint use safety or engineering violations.  The joint use coordinator then reviews the records in Varasset before sending them to the attacher for resolution.

Attachers can import the "points of correction" notification lists from other utilities and regulatory agencies, documenting resolution as issues are corrected.

Communication

Varasset Mobile enables inspectors to collect detailed field data, including GPS coordinates, digital photos and videos.  Data sent to the pole owner or attacher includes the coordinates, photos, maps and other data in an importable format.

Notification & NJUNS

NJUNS (www.njuns.com) is the premier system for joint use communications in the United States.  Accent, which developed Varasset, also developed and maintains the current NJUNS software.  If your utility uses NJUNS, Varasset can interface seamlessly, providing transparent auto-creation and updates of NJUNS tickets, directly from your Varasset user interface.
